In recent years fashion has become increasingly digital, with a total presence in both physical and virtual dimensions: a Gucci digital bag was sold on Roblox for $4,115, more than the price of its physical version; Burberry and Farfetch presented a 3D world to promote their new bags, while Farfetch and Prada are using a virtual try-on tool on Snapchat.
BITMI is a digital brand that makes clothing only in the third dimension. Instead of paying to own a physical garment, customers pay for digital versions of it, which they can use to "dress" images of themselves or their avatars. Looking to the future of fashion from a sustainable and advanced perspective, BITMI wants to export the trend of skins and digital fashion outside the world of videogames. BITMI does not aim to replace physical fashion, but it wants to be a sustainable, extravagant alternative that everyone would like to "wear" at least once in their lifetime.
BITMI is an all-digital brand making virtual clothes with almost no impact on the environment. The company was founded in Italy with the mission of looking to the future of the fashion system in a more digital, inclusive and sustainable way.
