Where is America

“Where is America?” is a question every individual will ask themselves, sooner or later. The same that has pushed many to go in search of it. “Where is America?” is also a metaphorical question used by people to express a missing life condition. So, what is America? A physical place or a life condition? Where is it when we look for it? Where is it when we don’t find it? Some see it beyond a line, others beyond the ocean. And in recent years, beyond the Mediterranean. And if this is the reason that pushes migrants every day to face death at sea to reach that much desired place, “America” also becomes a reason for survival from the abuses they suffer in their lands due to wars and social issues.
