Paul Majer was selected to be a part of the Young Designers Project, in which Istituto Marangoni partnered with Camera Showroom Milano.
"To be able to collaborate with an established brand such as 5 Progress was really beneficial and fun. These kind of experiences and opportunities are vital for young and emerging designers, and it’s great that both Istituto Marangoni and Camera Showroom Milano understood this and were motivated to give creatives a platform at the start of their journey. My collection was inspired by nature in the city. After Covid restrictions began to be relaxed and we were all allowed outside again, I got back on my bicycle. I love to explore cities by bike or by foot, and I really appreciate when nature and green spaces are incorporated into the layout of a city. It was the first collection I have developed outside of university, and my first time working with a fashion brand. It was a great new experience and definitely an important step in my development. To be able to have not only the advice from the brand, but also the expertise provided by also working with CSM and Istituto Marangoni was fantastic."
