The world is adapted for human use. Construction mimics the human form as a basis for its processes and techniques. My concept investigates anatomy through my experience and understanding of injury, whilst comparing it to the exploration of my father’s career in construction alongside its techniques and processes. Parallels are formulated throughout the entire collection. The nervous system and electrical networks inspire print and manipulation, whilst the skeleton and metal frameworks inform silhouette. The skin and road surfaces are clear indicators of textile selection and colour palette. Early anatomy studies inspire multifaceted, reversible panels which are the foundation of every garment.
