How much are young people willing to test themselves to buy something they really want? This is the question that student Marika Grimaudo asked herself to start building her Overworld gaming project.
For her “Overworld” project, Istituto Marangoni Firenze student Marika Grimaudo created a free-to-play game designed to be a phygital area, halfway between a physical and a digital store, directly connected to the e-commerce of selected brands.
The game strengthens the sense of community, the philosophy behind the brands, and aims to understand how young people are willing to put themselves to the test in order to buy a product, without neglecting the playful aspect and the fun of it.
