Due to the present virtual/technology spectrum surrounding the world, humans have started to show different perspectives of themselves that were not so obvious before social media was a ‘thing’. Our world revolves around technology, and what we post to keep ourselves relevant and busy. Tech-tility is defined as the space between the real and the virtual. With this photo shoot I wanted to reflect the alter-ego sides of humans that emerge because of social media influence. The styling was inspired mainly by Dolce and Gabbana, by the Met Gala’s Heavenly Bodies exhibit and by our Latin roots in Miami. I wanted to bring the Mexican heart to show how colorful and beautiful Latin America is. Lastly, I was inspired by the Tech-tility trend for the more futuristic images, using purples and blues combined with a simple look to convey a strong message.
