SYRcle

SYRcle, which stands for Syria and Recycle, is a collection inspired by the Syrian war and the Syrian refugee crisis. SYRcle tells the story of refugees who fled their homes to build a new life and stay alive. SYRcle is based on recycling, to support the concept of sustainability in the fashion industry. The materials used include blankets, bed sheets and tents sourced from Emmaus. The collection includes everyday garments that can be elevated to luxurious and elegant pieces. I dedicate this collection to my grandparents that I lost during the confinement. Especially to my grandfather, who was a political figure of the opposition to the Syrian regime, and a man that fought for Syrian refugees.
