Dancing Dystopia

Dancing Dystopia is a project that stems from the desire to look at the current social and economic situation through a positive perspective. We live in a dystopian situation, everything is the opposite of what lives in our utopias, but what role does music play? I analyzed the relationship that music has had with society in situations of remote catastrophes, and how it has been a salvation for humanity. So I decided to focus on partisan songs, which show how music can even be a weapon of resistance to fight for one's patriotic feelings and for freedom. In particular, I developed the theme represented by the song which has become the symbol of the Italian Resistance and which has been translated and reinterpreted all over the world, Bella Ciao. Two simple words that have a very deep meaning, recognized worldwide, today more than ever.
