The collection is based on a balance between sensitivity, clean cuts and rebellion. These are the elements that we find in the lifestyle of the “Teddy boy’’, a character evolved in the late 40s, forming groups of young rebels, with no role models, overwhelmed by anxiety and disoriented by uncertainty. Rebels are characterized by the urge to define new values to differentiate themselves from adults and mass culture. The collection is developed using the concepts of tailoring and elegance, starting from a dandy and aristocratic appearance and the classicism of the Edwardian age. Fabrics, volumes and cuts of this London subculture are taken up, developing an androgynous image. The style adopted mixes the male and female attitudes, creating a delicate balance between practicality and fragility, between functionality and femininity. It is a rigid, pure and linear aesthetic, where the search for shapes is almost whispered.
